The Timy Application
Timy-Soft
The "software" is a Microsoft Excel® application. It requires a PC with any of the following configurations:
- Windows® 98 SR2 with Excel 97
- Windows XP with Excel 2000, 2002, 2003 or 2007
- Windows Vista® with Excel 2007
The application will NOT work with:
- Windows XP using Excel 97
- Windows Vista with older versions of Excel than 2007
- Excel on Apple® machines
- OpenOffice.org® Spreadsheet program
The basic application has been kept extremely simple to allow an easy and quick implementation. All you need to do is enter the list of employees with their badge numbers, and you are up and running. You can then:
- Read in Time Stamps from the Terminal using the USB-Key
- Display daily totals for up to 10 Time Stamps per employee (Start / Stop plus 4 breaks)
- Enter absence or correction data (sick, vacation . . .)
- Display weekly subtotals
- Display totals for any arbitrary period (bi-weekly, monthly . . .)
- Generate Summary Reports directly usable for payroll calculations
If your needs are more sophisticated, take the optional "Formulae" module. With this clever addition you can customise your Timy-Soft to your specific needs by loading any combination of the following functions with a click of a mouse button:
- Programme rotating shifts with or without automatic shift detection
- Programme Weekly time models with a different time model every day
- Calculate Night Hours
- Calculate Sunday Hours
- Calculate Holiday Hours
- Calculate Overtime either on a weekly or a daily basis
- Apply rounding rules to the Time Stamps (nearest 15 min or other value)
- Automatically deduct standard (non-recorded) breaks from the daily times
- Convert times from decimal to "hh:mm" formats
- Implement Absence counters with balance (vacation days left current year)
- Take into account up to 10 extra smoke breaks per day per employee
- Totalise times spent on projects, tasks, shop orders, repair orders etc.
